Biography

Damari Perez serves as Controller at The Ledger Law Firm, where she oversees the firm’s financial operations, accounting infrastructure, and strategic financial planning. With more than 15 years of experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and legal operations, Damari brings extensive leadership experience supporting the growth and operational efficiency of high-volume personal injury law firms.

Prior to joining The Ledger Law Firm, Damari held executive-level finance and operations roles with prominent personal injury firms throughout California. Throughout her career, she has led large-scale operational restructuring initiatives, implemented scalable accounting systems, improved financial reporting accuracy, and streamlined workflows between legal and accounting departments.

Damari has extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, trust accounting, operational strategy, tax compliance, and systems integration. She is known for her ability to align financial operations with case management processes to support organizational growth, efficiency, and long-term scalability.

She is currently pursuing a Master of Legal Studies (MSL) at USC Gould School of Law and holds a Master of Science in Accounting & Finance from Keller Graduate School, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from the University of La Verne. Damari is also an IRS Enrolled Agent and is currently pursuing her CPA licensure.
