Attorney At Law
Biography
Mitchell brings a wide-ranging background and a grounded, service-driven approach to his work at The Ledger Law Firm. Raised on the rural coast of the Pacific Northwest, he has lived and worked across the U.S.—including in Utah, Idaho, Texas, and Missouri—and spent three years in Ecuador, where he became fluent in Spanish and developed a lasting appreciation for cultural connection.
Before entering the legal profession, Mitchell gained hands-on experience in agriculture, sales, law enforcement, private security, and healthcare management. This diverse foundation informs his practical, people-centered approach to advocacy. He earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri in Columbia in 2020 and has since practiced personal injury law in Western Washington.
Mitchell handles a range of cases, including motor vehicle collisions, dog bites, premises liability, workplace accidents, and maritime injuries. He thrives in pre-litigation negotiation, mediation, arbitrations, and motions practice—always working to understand and achieve what matters most to his clients.
He lives by the motto “Destitutus Ventis, Remos Adhibe”—“If the wind does not serve, take to the oars”—a philosophy that reflects his quiet resolve, strong character, and unwavering commitment to those he serves.
