Fashion Island Shooting, Newport Beach, UPDATE
Minutes after attorney Emery Brett Ledger returned to his Newport Beach home from the KABC studios in Los Angeles where he spent a large portion of his radio show discussing the preschool shooting which took place in Connecticut he heard gun shots ring-out at Fashion Island, the neighboring mall a few hundred yards from his home.
Ledger said, “People just aren’t playing by the rules any longer, this Christmas season will be remembered for taking instead of giving”.
